Good Hair Helps
GOOD HAIR HELPS
One of the things that has carried me through the last month or so is repeating, “Treat yourself like a baby. Treat yourself like a baby. Treat yourself like a baby."
It is true, in our weakness, The Spirit is made strong. Even more, when we treat ourselves like we are weak, I do believe we get stronger. Even outside the context of extreme grief or change, being human in general is a very weak and fragile thing.
A similar line from The Artist's Way sticks with me daily, “Treat yourself like a precious object and you will be made strong.” I have found this to be very true.
The baby treatment has included a few things: lots of sleep sleep, daily smoothies, hot showers, slow plans, nice PJs, and taking really good care of my hair and skin. These tiny things are not tiny. Before, I would have called them luxuries. Now, I just call this good care.
In the past month or so I have also gotten really into upgrading my products — and I'm listing a few favorites below. I have been jokingly calling my new Dyson AirWrap my “trauma gift" but let me just tell you — good hair does help. Sooo worth it. If you haven't already, add to your Christmas list!!!
How can you treat yourself like a precious object this weekend?
Please, go do that.
So grateful for you,
C 🦋
Things that Made this Week Livelier
Exciting!! New in the shop!
I just added new charms! The last packs sold out within an hour. If you want one, grab it! They are all vintage and one-of-a-kind.
I also have been working on developing this new Like Life digital planner. IT'S HERE and complete with (actually helpful, not too complicated) exercises, yearly vision, monthly, weekly and daily planning sheets. I am so excited about this. I made it to help us like our lives a little more in 2025. I hope you love it.
For the sweatshirts, we only have L and XL left. Once these are gone, they're gone. For sizing, I like wearing a L or XL for that oversized comfy look!
Always so grateful for your support. Sending love!
Live Lively,
Caroline
