Holy is Your Art 🎨
On Creativity
The daily routine starts. The alarm goes off.
You send a few texts and move into the kitchen, reaching for coffee. You make a cup — or two.
Here, you are creating something.
You open your hands.
“Jesus, take this day,” you say.
You make a lunch, pick an outfit, and set out towards the door.
You make a plan and do the best you can.
Here, you are creating something.
You tend to work, home, or little ones.
Hands to a keyboard, pen to paper, ticking down a to-do list.
Call your mom, turn on a song. Set the table, make a schedule.
Here, you are creating something.
You make conversations, decisions, safe places, and plans. In each present moment, you make the most of it.
Here, you are creating something.
Holy is your art — even if it feels small.
Holy is your art — even if hidden in your days, meals, and memories.
Holy is your art — even when you don’t notice you’re making it.
In Heaven’s Gallery there must be moments with family, words you have written vulnerably, your grade school art room efforts, and even Instagram stories — framed and on display. All you have done with heart and trust is labeled as creativity.
God gives us the day and then leaves us to it.
Here, He invites us to create.
You are made in an Artist’s image. Creative because He is.
Holy is your art.
Keep creating,
C
