On Judging Ourselves πŸ’˜

Happy September! Can you believe that we're saying that?

This morning I've been praying with 1 Cor 4:1-5. Saint Paul says: β€œIt does not concern me in the least that I be judged by you or any human tribunal; I do not even pass judgement on myself; I am not conscious of anything against me …”

How would life be different if we paid no concern to earthly judgement and opinion? How would my days change if I didn't care to pass judgement on myself or receive it from others? How would it be different if I was only concerned with the opinion of a merciful and loving Father? What if I cleared my conscious of anything against me? What if what we think actually doesn't matter?

These questions are freeing me up this Friday and I'm praying to be more like St. Paul - free from judgment and only concerned with the opinion of a loving Lord.

I've been telling my friends that I feel like I'm in a moment of reorienting. It's September - what goals do I have? Where am I? How do I want this year to end? This week's liveliness list includes a bunch of things that have been helping me feel hopeful about the last few months of 2022.

On this Friday, I hope you feel the freedom to be who you are and keep going in the direction you are called. Peace!

I've been including these in my morning smoothies and they have really changed the game. SO worth it!

This book has transformed my approach to goal setting and has helped me experience momentum. I don't think I'll ever set goals another way again.

If you've ever asked β€œWhat's my calling?” this episode helped me approach such a big question in a simple way.

My friend Laura Smith wrote this beautiful book on the Psalms. I've been reading a chapter every morning and loving it.

I really resonated and enjoyed this article. The β€œgirl boss” is dead. What comes next? A really interesting read!

For fall? Do I need?? Do you?? They're on sale for about $30 right now!

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITES?

I'm all ears! Comment below and tell us what gave you life this week!

Need prayer? I would be honored to pray for you. Send me your intentions, too!

Live Lively,

Caroline
