Happy Wednesday! A weekly collection of things I’m noticing!

+ I got this dress from Hill House …

for my cousin’s wedding! When I stepped out of the dressing room a ton of women gasped. Charleston is girl world, and I love it. Bonding with women in dressing rooms and bar bathrooms is one of my favorite girlhood experiences.

+ Leopard in general

I’m seeing it everywhere! So glad it’s back. My parents have always had a giant leopard rug in our living room. I remember in grade school one of my friends always made comments about it. She couldn’t believe my parents would cover a room with leopard print. So exotic! … and that is when I realized that my parents were a bit different. Bring it on! Leopard inspo below. + Speaking of rugs …

Rugs are so hard to find. This one from Ikea is blowing my mind. I LOVE.

+ Other careers

One of the prompts in the first week of The Artist Way (which Aubrey and I just completed) is, “If you had five other lives to lead, what would they be?”

I’m entertaining … A gardener (who was good at it and had a huge English countryside garden), an interior designer (duh), a luxury clothes designer, house flipper, antique store owner, a travel blogger, a therapist/psychologist … maybe a princess?

What would you be? And how can you lean into that today?

+ How much I love being 25

It sank in on Sunday morning. I slept in after a night spent laughing with my friends. I made a latte and got back into my bed. Reading, praying and some casual journaling about my inner child, between fielding shopping links, voice memos about dating escapades, and dreaming about the week ahead. I love being 25. I love that we all know who we are — but not quite yet … there is still so much that hangs in the air!! And on Sunday morning, when all the texts of weekend updates come in, and group chats are popping off — I can’t get enough. Give me more girlhood! More dating stories!! More dreaming! You are right where you need to be!! Forever amen.
