Noticing | Volume 6

We’re back! Another collection of things I’ve been noticing.

+ Goop Shampoo / Scalp Scrub

I tried not to give into the hype around this, but everyone is right. This shampoo/scalp scrub combo is everything. It makes my hair feel so clean and bouncy. It's worth it.

+ This print

My friend sent this to me this week! How did I forget that you can buy cute prints on Etsy? We need more large art in our office. I think I’ll be sourcing from here!

+ Italy plans

I’m planning a trip to Italy in the fall. Have you stayed anywhere wonderful (also semi-affordable) in Lake Como or Sorrento? Has anyone stayed with nuns in Rome? Been to the Padre Pio shrine? (Niche). Sourcing recs …

+ Aerie Cardigan

Everyone is talking about this cardigan. I went to try it on in person and loved it. Wearing a size small. Pics here.

+ Jessie Loves

The founder of Loeffler Randall started a new substack. I’m so curious to see what she shares! Also curious about Substack culture in general … any Substacks you love?

+ This playlist

I discovered this week that my friend Aubrey had been adding songs that made her think of me to a playlist. I listened to it all weekend and found that the order of the songs tracked with what was happening in my life over time. This might be the nicest thing a friend has ever so casually done for me?? There is nothing more powerful than female friendship. I want to start making playlists for all the people I love and adding songs when I think of them.

+ The Last Thing He Told Me on Apple TV

My friend Alex and I are almost done with this show. I loved it. It is just suspenseful enough without being scary (I cannot handle super dramatic TV). The actors are awesome. I have loved it!!

+ Sharing Pinterest boards as a video on Instagram

Pinterest unveiled a new feature where you can share your Pinterest boards as a video to your story. So interesting to see social platforms adopting content for others and in video form. I also love Pinteres (duh). See my pins here.

+ This tip from my therapist

We’ll end on this note! My therapist handed me a piercing prompt at just the right time. She told me to start asking myself, “Do I need this [spiral, worry, anxiety] for my [survival, safety, etc.]?” The answer is always no, and it is really helping me live in the moment and stop any spiraling.

What are you noticing? Tell me in the comments!

Thinking of you!

Xx,

C
