The Story of a Taylor Swift Miracle ✨

Two weeks in a row? Who is she??

First, thank you for your love and response to last week's email. I'm so grateful! We will definitely be doing a #likelife challenge. I'm thinking about kicking it off on my birthday (May 21st) to ring in this next year with some extra love. Stay tuned! If you have any questions about liking your life, topics you'd wish I'd cover or more – I'm all ears. Respond to this and let me know.

Last weekend I was at the Taylor Swift concert. It was a Sunday night in Nashville and it was seriously thunder storming. As a result, the concert kept getting postponed and we were stuck under the stadium with 70,000 girls covered in glitter. It kept lightning and it wasn't looking likely that Taylor would play.

Because we were body to body with so many people (cue the claustrophobia) we found some respite from the rain and crowds in a random lost and found room. A few people who were working the stadium welcomed us in.

Over the course of a 3.5 hour delay, we made friends with a man named John and a woman named Jenny who were so graciously working the lost and found and rerouting the chaos of panicked Taylor fans. By 10 PM it was announced that Taylor was taking the stage, she would play her whole set and likely be done by 2 AM.

Just as we got up to leave the lost and found room and take our seats, John took 6 tickets out of his pocket and said something along the lines of “Because you've had a rough night, take these tickets.” They were front row to the floor. We originally bought nosebleeds.

We immediately erupted in joy, tears, hugs. We couldn't believe it.

I'm calling it a Taylor Swift miracle.

When we got to our seats, I couldn't help but laugh. Keeping the faith matters. Expecting the miracle helps. God cares - even about our daily delight (and something as silly as our experience at a Taylor concert). He gives good gifts and nothing is an accident.

This weekend, take this encouragement: Keep expecting the miracle. God is not holding out on us.

Praying for many miracles in your weekend!

Love,
C

This gold cuff is one of my favorite things I got while abroad. It instantly adds chic to any outfit and I've found myself wearing it with everything. They ship to the US and have a bunch of sayings! It would make a great gift.

I couldn't suggest this enough. I'm picky about underwear but so far, I love these!!

Okay I've never talked about my dating life publicly or on a podcast – but this one, I did. Tune in!

Just trying my best to bring my Italian life to Charleston, SC. This makes the. best espresso ever!

I just got these sandals in the mail - and I love them! The exact look without the price tag.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITES?

I'm all ears! Comment below and tell us what gave you life this week!

Need prayer? I would be honored to pray for you. Send me your intentions, too!

Live Lively,

Caroline
