What walls would you tear down?

A Prayer For Possibility

A roof leak caused a domino effect, and now, I'm managing an attic renovation.

I know very little about renovation and have no contracting experience so when I make a plan, I am unsure of what could be logistically possible.

Feeling the intimidation of inexperience, I often play it very safe. When presenting my ideas, I realize they only scratch the surface of what could happen with the space - especially when Juan, the guy I've worked on my entire house with, says something like ā€œWell, you could just do this ā€¦ā€ or ā€œBut this would solve that ā€¦ā€ or ā€œWhy don't you want to ā€¦?ā€

And I stand in shock thinking ā€œOMG I didn't know that was a possibility.ā€

Why am I talking about my attic renovation?

Because it's been illustrating for me the power in understanding possibility. There is something about knowing what could happen - or just not being boxed in by what you think can't happen - that changes everything.

In my business, in my relationships, in my days, in my vision for the future, in healing, in prayer, in all of it - I've been praying ā€œGod, expand my understanding of possibility.ā€

Here's a simple prayer that on this Friday, we could pray together:

God of no limits, you foster the miraculous.

God who says, ā€œall things are possible,ā€ help me put my trust not in my understanding, but in your mystery.

God of all generosity, remove the boundaries on your power that I've put up. Strip me of my fear that you won't do what you say you will.

God of all good, help me trust you too much. God of my life, expand my understanding of possibility.

God of abundance, make my vision bigger. God of endless possibility, the miraculous is not hard for you. I expect to see you move.

Amen.

If anything is possible, what would you believe in? If you knew you could, what walls would you tear down?

There is more possibility. Keep moving in faith.

Have a great weekend!

Things that Made this Week Livelier

I have been so inspired by the story of this Canadian folk artist who painted her whole tiny house. An internet friend sent me a sticker of her home! So kind.

Okay I thought these were just like regular sponges - but they aren't. First, they look cute in the sink. Second, they're just better.

I placed a Merit order and love the products and loooveee the bag that comes with your first order. I'm a Merit girl now.

4. TJ Pumpkin Candle

I'm not a huge fan of pumpkin / vanilla smells but this candle is so good!!! Run to TJs. Happy fall-ish.

More music?? I'm listening on repeat.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITES?

I'm all ears! Comment below and tell us what gave you life this week!

Need prayer? I would be honored to pray for you. Send me your intentions, too!
